Bratton Mill Farmhouse is a charming former mill on the edge of Exmoor, dating back to the 17th century. The property has recently been redecorated throughout, yet retains it’s character and charm, we think you will feel at home as soon as you walk through the door!
Accommodation
The kitchen is well-equipped and includes an electric hob, Rayburn oven, American fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Other kitchen equipment includes toaster, kettle, a selection of cookware and kitchen utensils plus beautiful china, glass and cutlery.
The television, DVD, and radio are all available for guests use, and wifi is also available throughout the property.
An iron, ironing board and hair dryer are all provided for your convenience.
Please note, there is no mobile phone reception due to the location of the property. Also, the stairs in the farmhouse are quite steep.
Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. The Farmhouse has central heating which will be programmed for you, yet can be adjusted to suit your preferences. There is also a wood-burning stove in the sitting room; some logs, kindling and matches will be provided in the cooler months to get you started. Further logs can be purchased locally if required.
Beautiful quality bed linen, duvets, large fluffy towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own outdoor/beach towels.
Tea, coffee and sugar will be provided. There may also be other non-perishable items like a salt, pepper and oil available.
Household sundries such as toilet rolls, washing-up liquid, tea towels will also be provided.

Me and my group of friends had our first holiday together over new years and this was the perfect place for it! Firstly, kettle works great (mould-free obviously) so many cups of tea were enjoyed. The boiler was broken, but the host made sure to provide an immersion heater for hot water, electric ra.... The boiler was broken, but the host made sure to provide an immersion heater for hot water, electric radiators and as many logs as we needed to keep the fire going to make sure we stayed cosy throughout the trip. The rooms are all comfortable and well furnished- while the sofas aren’t brand new and seem well loved, they’re still comfy. The narrow lane down to the property is a bumpy ride, but typical of rural locations like this one- no damage to our cars at all! We felt very treated, safe and at home here, we look forward to coming back! If you want a nice place to stay in, look no further 👍

This was my parents final holiday due to illness. It was awful. Had to boil pans of water as mould in kettle. Mould in kitchen sink. Toilet in the kitchen! No hot water/heating & logs are chargeable! Could cost £80 a wk to warm 1 room. Dead flies on every window. furniture held together with tape. .... This was my parents final holiday due to illness. It was awful. Dead flies on every window. furniture held together with tape. Blue sofas are dirty, broken and painful to sit on. Drive damages cars, punctures very likely, & damaged rims/exhausts. Cannot tell host as no mobile service/internet. Host rude and says she can get internet and that maybe it’s not the holiday for us and it’s described as a traditional Farmhouse. Well, I have a 16th c cottage and dirt/mould & broken furniture are not standard. Host has “they are only tourists” attitude. If you want a nice place to stay in, keep looking, this week for us was slumming it.Random people turn up so felt unsafe for kids and dogs. Host makes me out to be rude and dirty because I complained. We said we had a nice time in Devon, host says we must be lying about house

Well equipped and clean holiday home. Lots of space and a lovely garden. The track down to the property is steep and bumpy - we were grateful to have an SUV.
