A pretty barn conversion, stylishly furnished and perfect for couples to use as a base to explore both the Devon coast and countryside.
The Granary is a delightful barn conversion situated at Lake village, only a mile from the town of Barnstaple in North Devon with its famous Pannier Market and good selection of shops and restaruants. The cottage feels welcoming with wood floors, light oak beams, electric wood burner and has a well equipped modern kitchen. Outside is shared lawn and gardens (as the owner lives adjacent to the Granary) and you can dine outside on the private patio area.

The Granary was fine to accommodate 2 people and a dog. It was modern and geographically well placed. Nice welcome pack and the owner was very friendly and helpful, responding immediately to any request.

A very attractive, welcoming, rustic 'hideaway' in an outlying location, but within easy reach of all necessary amenities. We used it as a centre for travel to such places of interest as Clovelly, Lynton/Lynmouth, RHS Rosemoor, Westward Ho! and even used the nearby railway station for the train to Exeter. Highly recommended!
Mr Solway
This was a lovely cottage. Plenty of space. Has everything we needed. Lovely touches of fresh flowers in the lounge and kitchen, wine, cake and milk were very much appreciated. Lovely owners next door who were very friendly. We enjoyed a few bike rides from the property as it was easy to get the Tarka trail from there.
