Set in a pretty courtyard within the grounds of the owners thatched home this delightful single storey cottage is conveniently placed with the nearby town of Barnstaple, just a short drive away.

Barnstaple offers plenty to see and do, the characterful Pannier Market is worth a look and for those looking to walk or cycle it offers easy access to the popular Tarka Trail where you can enjoy traffic free space. Bideford with its maritime connections is also an interesting place to visit where you can hop on the Oldenburg and enjoy a boat trip to Lundy Island. Beach lovers will love the numerous beaches in the area, including delightful Instow. The surfing hot spots of Croyde, Woolacombe and Westward Ho! also close by. Alternatively explore the pretty coastal villages of Appledore, Hartland and Clovelly. Exmoor National Park is just a short drive away where you can enjoy fabulous walks and scenery. Stepping into this cute detached cottage you are greeted by an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, the lounge area has comfy seating surrounding the Smart TV, making this the perfect place to relax and catch up on your favourite programmes. A small dining table is located just off the lounge area to make mealtimes easy. The kitchen area is ready for the chef of the couple and is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge and dishwasher. Completing this property is the bedroom which has a double bed and an en suite shower and WC. Heading outside there is a patio area surrounded with shrubs and plants. There is a hot tub, garden furniture and a BBQ , ready for those lovely summer evenings. Guests at all the properties on this site have the freedom to wander the grounds and surrounding fields. There is a lake where you can fish (rods and tackle available). There is parking for one car. Need to know: 1 Bedroom double. 1 Shower room with shower and WC. Electric oven and hob, fridge and dishwasher. Off road parking for 1 car. Beach 11 miles, shop 2 miles and pub 1.5 miles. Smart TV. Patio area with hot tub, garden furniture and BBQ. Robes provided. Shared use of coarse fishing lake (by arrangement with the owner). Regret no children under the age of 12. The owner has 3 dogs which live on site.
