Not a good place for family with children, lodge itself ok, spacious but that's it. The pond was not in good condition, murky filthy water.Absolutely no wifi , hence no television, children were bored, needed to go to nearby Aldi to connect to 4g network and plan any further journeys.No staff at reception on arrival, waited for 15 min then we went searching , only care taker was busy sorting lodges.It is peaceful if you just want to detox from phone or television.Hot tub was dirty, was told its because of well water by the care taker.We will never be going again , dissapointed with the huge price we paid... it is a learning experience.Pictures in hoseasons website is not what we saw in reality.Families please avoid booking this place. May be if you want to just stay in quite and peaceful place then go ahead.

Lodge was covered in moss on outside and cobwebs everywhere!!!Beds were cleanThe mugs and plates had to be washed and scrubbed as they were all stained inside. In fact we could t get the stains off so we went and bought our own mugsShower in main bathroom wouldn’t stay on so had to use en-suite.Bathrooms need upgradingThe outside was the worst bit and look nothing like what was advertised
