Snaptrip says

Guests have had a generally positive experience at Tor Cottage, praising its cosy atmosphere, well-maintained pool, and the bonus of a hot tub. The site's tranquillity and the helpfulness of the wardens are consistently noted. While some minor maintenance issues and a lack of certain amenities were mentioned, these did not detract significantly from the overall enjoyment.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the cottage and site clean and tidy, though one review mentioned it was dirty upon closer inspection. The hot tub was noted to be immaculately clean.

The location is highly praised for its brilliant views and proximity to Devon's heart, offering a comfortable base to explore the area. No negative comments about the location were noted.

The cottage is described as cosy and perfect for families, with a special mention of good heating. However, some guests noted uncomfortable beds and pillows, and issues with light curtains affecting sleep.

Facilities like the pool and games room are appreciated, but several reviews mentioned maintenance issues such as broken appliances and the need for additional amenities like an iron or bottle opener.

While the reviews reflect positively on the staff's helpfulness and the provision of amenities like a games room, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness in the context required. Therefore, this score is set to null.
