Come and stay in one of our three safari tents, each one accommodates six people comfortably, with a handmade wooden four poster king size bed, two single beds, a further king size bed in a shed, central heating, a shower room with toilet and another separate cloakroom.

Leave your worries behind while immersing yourself in a simpler life, getting closer to nature and reconnecting with the ones you care about.

Each tent has a fully fitted kitchen equipped with an oven in the woodburner, two ring hob with whistling kettle, indoor dining area with large table and ample seating, a gas BBQ and your own decked veranda with dining furniture, perfect for Al Fresco dining.

In your tent, you’ll find a pack filled with maps and information. Children can enjoy the freedom of our secure 5 acre field, whilst playing football and making use of our play equipment.

Don’t forget…Your swimmers and towels for the hot tub and nearby beaches, bathroom toiletries, wellies and jumpers (for the typical British weather!), jacket potatoes and pizzas for your woodburners oven and marshmallows and skewers for the communal fire pit.

Where are we located?

You can find Midleydown on our 100 acre family farm in the small village of Plymtree, which is nestled in the heart of East Devon a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We are approximately 10 minutes from junction 28 off the M5, near to the Market town of Cullompton and Honiton and just a 30 minute drive to the Cathedral City of Exeter and the beautiful coastline of the Jurassic Coast, including Dartmoor and Exmoor.

For those of you who don’t fancy cooking there are several local pubs, such as, The Blacksmiths Arms, The Merry Harriers and The Drewe Arms. A short 10 minute drive away is the village of Cullompton and Honiton where there are many restaurants and take-aways for you to choose from.

Nearby visitors attractions include, The Bear Trail, Escot Park, Crealy Adventure Park, The World of Country Life, Seaton Jurassic and many more.
