A day trip to the Miniature Pony Centre is also possible and requires only a short car ride. Chagford, a nearby market town with a number of restaurants, is not far away, and Exeter, a short drive away, is where you'll find the beautiful Exeter Gardens, the rushing River Exe, and the breath-taking Barley Valley Nature Reserve.
