Kids (of any age!) will love the shared, covered swimming pool, open between Easter and the end of October. It’s located at the sister complex, 2 miles away. Stock up on adult refreshment as well as taking tours and tastings at the nearby Dalwood Vineyard (0.5 miles). The Jurassic Coast is a great draw here, with pretty Lyme Regis and its famous harbour (10 miles), Seaton (8 miles), charming Charmouth (10 miles) with its striking cliffs and fossicking, plus picture-postcard Beer (13 miles) all worth visiting. You can connect some of these places via the South West Coast Path for example Beer to Seaton is just 1.5 miles. Inland, the traditional market town of Honiton (5 miles) is known for antiques if you fancy a souvenir.

It offers truly breathtaking views of the countryside that will just make you stop, take stock and enjoy your holiday. The open-plan living space at this holiday home from home makes spending time together – or apart – super easy. Sink into the cosy soft seating in the lounge area, arranged around a feature electric fireplace, to watch the Smart TV. Or simply chat to people in the kitchen and dining area just behind. Look forward to a good night’s sleep in the three bedrooms that are all elegant spaces and afford a useful degree of flexibility for different groups. One bedroom is an en-suite super-king-size but can be a twin, there’s another king-size bedroom and one twin with characterful exposed stonework.

Access the verandah with garden furniture via the French doors from the lounge. Take time to sit and enjoy the wonderful views and the sights and sounds of nature. Or soak your muscles in the sunken outdoor hot tub also out here. There are four small steps up to the veranda from the surrounding grassland. There’s no parking stress, either, as two private spaces come with this cottage.
