The Stables is in a beautiful rural setting, it is peaceful with lovely views. The cottage is spacious and 4 of the bedrooms are en-suite. The kitchen is well equipped, and the dining room and lounge generously proportioned with a wood burner. We went in November and the cottage was warm all weekend. The owners had left milk, tea and biscuits which was very welcome. The village is a 17 minute walk and has 2 pubs. We also enjoyed the 45 walk to Seaton via the Wetland centre. Recommend highly and would return.

Absolutely beautiful cottage and surround area. We stayed for 1 week (4 adults and 4 children) and had more than enough space; bedrooms are good size with comfy beds and ensuites on all but 1 room which was handy. The cottage is perfectly sized for large groups and is fully equipped with everything you could ever possibly need. There is a good sized paddock next to the garden which was great for the kids to run around and play games. It was lovely seeing the sheep, horses and chickens every morning and watching the owls and bats in the evening. Lovely clear skies at night too so great for star gazing. Great location for exploring South Devon and Dorset. The kids loved going to the beach to hunt for fossils. We will definitely be booing up again!
