During the summer months, from June to August, there is also a pool provides a refreshing retreat just steps from the front door.

Monks Thatch is a very special place. The location is incredible with amazing views from the wonderful garden. Sally is so friendly and welcoming and the cottage is very comfortable and a great place to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The pool was a welcome place to cool down during the recent heatwave. It is a great place to take a dog with the coastal path on the doorstep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

Lovely quaint little cottage. Very comfortable and spacious, with everything you need for your stay. Sally the host was exceptional, we had a issue with the shower which was sorted. Beautiful surroundings very quiet,and only a little walk.along the public foot path to the cliffs. I will definitely book again.

We had such a restful and peaceful time. The location allows easy access to the south coastal path and it’s in beautiful surroundings. We had days out in Sidmouth, Exeter and Lyme Regis, all a short drive away. We would highly recommend, and Sally, the host was so helpful and friendly.
