About Westleigh Bed and Breakfast

A truly dog friendly Bed and Breakfast on East Devon's World Heritage Jurassic Coast, Westleigh at Beer has recently been modernised throughout, and is only a two minute walk from the beautiful beach bay.  Host Etta is a trained Cordon Bleu cook preparing delicious Aga cooked breakfasts and dinners in the brand new kitchen refurbished by Etta herself. 

Guests (including furry four legged guests) are warmly welcomed on arrival.  We serve afternoon tea and homemade scones with cream and jam between 4pm to 5pm in the Conservatory or in the cosy sitting room with open fire.  Pooches are made to feel 'right at home' with their own homemade special treat.  We welcome dogs in accommodation and in all public areas of our 120 year old cottage B&B.  The setting is perfect for short breaks and holidays with dogs - the South West Coast path is only minutes from our door.  Please contact us direct for discounts on longer stays and for single occupancy discounts.

Dog Friendly Accommodation

We have two modern dog friendly rooms both equipped with all essentials including WiFi internet access.  Luggers is a king-size double with en-suite shower room featuring a shower unit, wc and wash basin.  This room has ample storage space including two large wardrobes.  

The Devon Yawl is our second king-size double bedroom containing 1 large wardrobe and a chest of drawers.  This room has sole use of a private bathroom containing a bath with a shower over, wc, wash basin and a shaver point.

Food and Drink

Guests can expect a superb range of menus served up by Cordon Bleu trained cook and owner Etta - and dog lovers can relax and enjoy a meal with their furry friends.

Delicious locally sourced meats and seasonal vegetables are served at affordable prices.  Enjoy freshly cooked Full English or Continental style breakfast.  A range of healthy and lighter breakfast options are available including homemade muesli or opt for modern choices such as smoothies and waffles.

Arrival is from 16:00 to 17:00 - flexible arrival times are by prior arrangement only.  Bed and breakfast, including a hearty cooked Full English breakfast starts from as little as £100 for a double room with a 5% discount on 3 night stays or more.

Around and About

The picturesque village of Beer on the Jurassic Coast is ideally placed for coastal walking and touring.  Beer's pretty shingle beach bay framed by white chalk cliffs is only a 2 minute walk from Westleigh.  Nearby attractions include the popular Seaton Tramway, and a new Jurassic Coast visitor centre is soon to open in Seaton.
