Guests say

Guests have had a delightful stay at Oak 2, praising its beautiful furnishings, cleanliness, and comfortable amenities. The caravan's location in Devon is appreciated for its tranquillity, and the site's cleanliness and friendly staff contribute to a relaxing break. The well-appointed kitchen and decking area are highlights, although the absence of a hot tub despite expectations was a minor letdown for one guest.

Reviewers consistently mention the caravan's cleanliness, describing it as 'very clean' with 'beautiful furnishings,' indicating a high level of maintenance.

While the location is described as 'lovely,' there is insufficient detail to accurately score the location. The mention of difficulty getting around without transport suggests some limitations.

Comfort is highlighted with mentions of 'comfortable beds' and 'comfortable furniture.' One note on the compact ensuite suggests a slight discomfort for taller individuals.

Facilities are generally praised, including a well-kept site and excellent amenities. The lack of bar and restaurant access during the week and a basic shop are minor drawbacks.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for thoughtfulness.

Overlooking East Devon’s spectacular Corry Valley, just 6 miles from the world-renowned Jurassic Coast, this friendly park offers a perfectly located base for relaxing and exploring all the delights of the glorious West Country.

A customer shared, "Staying at Andrewshayes Holiday Park that is nestled in the stunning East Devon countryside, has been an extraordinary experience. The views from our holiday home over the rolling hills were simply breathtaking, making every morning a delight with wildlife all around.

The park itself offered a peaceful and relaxing escape. The luxury of having a hot tub at some of the holiday homes in the main part of Andrewshayes added a touch of indulgence to our evenings. Gazing at the stars from the warmth of the hot tub was truly magical, and the joy of discovering that one of the homes even boasted a private garden made our stay even more special. Mornings filled with discoveries on woodland walks have been the highlight of our stay.

The covered indoor swimming pool was a favourite, especially on those slightly cooler days and the restaurant and bar quickly became our go-to spots for a lovely treat and a friendly chat. The children were over the moon with the play areas, spending hours of fun there.

What made our stay truly exceptional was having everything we could wish for right on our doorstep. Taking the Tram at Seaton provided an unforgettable journey with unique views and experiences. Our time spent in the charming village of Beer, exploring Pecorama with its enchanting gardens and thrilling model railways, promised fun for the whole family and added a special charm to our holiday.

We were also in the perfect spot to explore not just East Devon but the treasures of Dorset and Somerset. A short drive to the Jurassic Coast opened up days of fossil hunting in Lyme Regis and Charmouth, which were as thrilling as one might imagine. We’ve enjoyed walks along parts of the South West Coast Path, adventurous fishing trips, and of course, indulged in the obligatory Devon cream tea, which is an absolute must-do.

Reflecting on our time at Andrewshayes Holiday Park, it’s been more than just a break from the everyday; it’s given us memories that we’ll hold dear forever. It’s a place where you can truly connect with nature, find peace and quiet, and have adventures right at your fingertips. I can’t recommend it enough."

overall the accommodation and setting was superb, the staff friendly and very welcoming. I would have loved to try the bar and restaurant, but our stay was only mon-thursday. I would definitely recommend, but worth noting that it can be difficult to get around without your own transport.
