A village store can be found in Whitstone, a tiny Cornish settlement halfway between Launceston and the beach town of Bude. The beach in Widemouth Bay, together with numerous bays and inlets, is located six miles from Whitstone. The seaside village of Bude, with its fantastic beaches and year-round surfing, is only seven miles from Whitstone. In addition to having a fantastic golf course, an indoor pool, a bowling alley/indoor play area, and an excellent assortment of neighbourhood stores, supermarkets, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, Bude is located along the South West Coast Path. An excellent place to take a family vacation any time of year.
