This three-bedroom lodge stands on a small development set roughly midway between Cornwall's north and south coasts and boasts far-reaching views south towards the Lizard. Made for families and groups of up to six, it works for a holiday that pairs surfing and sailing with slow afternoons spent over a book and a pack of cards. Stithians Lake Activities Centre (2 miles) lies close by for water sports, while the maritime town of Falmouth (9.5 miles) and the harbour streets of St Ives (18.5 miles) both make rewarding days out. Sea safari excursions run along the coast, as well as the famous Southwest Coast Path, which walkers are sure to enjoy. Closer to home, the surrounding countryside opens scenic cycling, walking and horse-riding routes.

Step inside where the contemporary lounge/kitchen/diner forms the heart of the lodge, with patio doors running along one side and opening straight onto the south-facing decked area. Light fills the space through the doors, and the view carries from the sofa across to the dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped for a full house of six, and there is room to gather around the table for long meals and card games afterwards. From the living space, the three bedrooms are arranged along the lodge. The king-size bedroom has its own en-suite shower room with a shower and WC. Next to it, the second bedroom is set up as a twin and can be arranged as a double on request, while the third bedroom has bunk beds that are well suited to younger members of the party. The family bathroom serving these two rooms has a shower over the bath and a WC.

The south-facing decked area opens directly off the living space, with an outdoor hot tub positioned to make the most of the long views towards the Lizard and, after dark, the stars. Furniture on the deck gives space for al fresco dining, with the whole area private to the lodge. A wildflower area and a children's play park are shared with other guests staying on the development. Private parking is available at the lodge, and a domestic welcome pack is provided on arrival.
