From the doorstep, there are plenty of superb walks around the area, whilst Daymer Bay offers sheltered shallow waters ideal for afternoon picnics on the golden sands. For family day outs, the little ones will love a visit to the wonderful Camel Creek Adventure, a family activity centre, featuring animal petting areas, something your little one will love. Wadebridge has a lot to offer with its little boutique shops and delicatessen, to the well serviced bike hire shops, enjoy a ride along the river taking in the views. Be sure to visit the harbour town of Padstow, accessible by foot ferry, offering a wealth of art galleries, gift shops, cafés and restaurants to choose from. Providing everything for a charming holiday in beautiful surroundings, Samphire is a superb getaway.

Rock is an attractive coastal village on the north eastern bank of the River Camel, directly across from the famed port town of Padstow, which is easily accessible via a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities, with top-notch restaurants and boutiques, the true lure is the variety of watersports available, such as sailing, water skiing, windsurfing, and angling. Keeping with the athletic motif, the neighbouring St Enodoc golf course is regarded as one of the best in the country. It's easy to see why Rock is so popular, with so many world-class beaches all within a short distance.
