Close to the beautiful sandy beach of Rock and the famous ‘surfers paradise’ beach at Polzeath, 5 Lower Elms is a wonderful retreat for families and couples looking to escape to the serenity of the Cornish coast.

Head to Rock for a family beach day with a multitude of watersports or hop on the ferry for a short ride across the estuary to the pretty harbour town of Padstow where you can cycle the famous Camel Trail before enjoying fish and chips at Rick Steins.

Enjoy a round of golf at the picturesque St Enedoc Golf Course or spend the day at The Point Hotel where you can either; play a game of Paddle tennis, have a round golf, enjoy a workout in the gym or swim in the indoor pool followed by a well earned drink and meal in the bar/restaurant whilst watching your favourite team on Sky!

Discover many beautiful walks along the Cornish coastline with dogs being welcome almost everywhere. The fishing village of Port Isaac makes for a fantastic day out and you can check out filming locations made famous by Doc Martin and the Fisherman’s Friends movie and sample the best in local seafood at Nathan Outlaw’s fish kitchen.

The pretty, Pityme Inn is just five minutes walk and very popular with locals for their Sunday carvery. If you would rather relax and dine in, there is convenience store, bakery, butchers and fishmongers within walking distance or a large supermarket in the nearby town of Wadebridge.
