Tean is a fully furnished two bedroomed property, set in a large sheltered garden, in the quiet rural village of Carnon Downs. Tean is located with easy access to Falmouth, its beaches, and the Cathedral City of Truro which has a variety of shops, restaurants, super markets and eating establishments. There are a number of National Trust properties within easy reach by car, the closest being Trelissick Gardens, with woodland walks, gardens, house, and courtyard cafe. The area boasts a number of award winning pubs including the beautiful thatched Pandora Inn, The Punch Bowl and Ladle and Norway Inn. There are footpaths bordering the property just waiting to be explored, which makes it ideal for ramblers and families alike.

We are a small holding with Chickens and Geese, as well as our three friendly Cocker Spaniels, Teg, Flo and Lowen. Tean is located up a quiet bridleway with off road parking for one car and ideal to relax in the garden after a busy day. Tean has free WiFi, a Log Burner, modern kitchen with appliances. The open plan living area is tastefully decorated and offers an ideal opportunity for relaxation. The generous King Size bed in our main bedroom is comfortable and inviting after a day of sightseeing. Bedroom two has two single beds with all bed linen and towels provided.

Carnon Downs is a charming Cornish settlement with a shop, Post Office, and bar. The settlement of Portreath, with its sandy beach, is not far away, while the city of Truro and the popular town of Falmouth, as well as the north and south coastlines with their sandy beaches, are all within easy driving distance. A visit to Perranwell Station, where you may hire a Morgan automobile for the day, will appeal to classic car enthusiasts. Bissoe Bike Hire is also close in the Bissoe Valley, where you may rent a bike and cycle from Portreath to Devoran, taking in the sights of historic mine operations and beautiful wooded valleys, or simply enjoy a snack in the café.
