Named after the famous engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel who was instrumental in bringing the railways to Cornwall, this lovely holiday home also makes the perfect base from which to explore the nearby gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project.

Lostwithiel is a pretty town situated in a beautiful wooded valley at the head of the Fowey Estuary. The town is informally known as the antiques capital of Cornwall and is lined with galleries, quirky shops, pubs and riverside parks.

With its mainline railway station, it is ideally positioned for exploring all of Cornwall, and the property itself is just a short stroll from the train station.

Three beautifully furnished bedrooms and two bathrooms comfortably accommodate six guests and the underfloor heating means guests keep warm and comfortable throughout the chillier months.

Isamabards Retreat welcomes two dogs who get to enjoy the enclosed lawned garden and fantastic riverbank walks during their stay.

With nearby off-road cycle trails and great local walks including one to Restormel Castle and beautiful accommodation, this really is a wonderful way to experience a luxurious slice of traditional Cornish life.Living area
