Welcome to Greenbank, a beautiful two-bedroom cottage in the picturesque village of Veryan. If you want to get away from crowds, this is the place to be. The Roseland Peninsula is an Area of Outstanding Beauty, where you are surrounded by stunning beaches, hidden coves, lush gardens and glorious countryside. Although close to the local pub and village shop, the cottage nestles in a secluded subtropical garden, with the tree ferns and camellias for which Cornwall is famous. It is a peaceful retreat, where the owners have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, from the cosy bedrooms to the well-equipped kitchen. After a busy day, snuggle up in the living room in front of the wood burner if it is a chilly night, or sit under the stars with a drink in the private garden, hearing only the owls. It’s ideal for couples and families – there is so much to do, from seeing the Roundhouses to exploring the 13th-century church, visiting Melinsey Mill for a cream tea, or popping into Veryan Gallery. The idyllic fishing village of Portloe is only 1½ miles away and sheltered Pendower Beach 1½ miles, great for family swimming and exploring rock pools. While you are here a trip to St Mawes is essential, where you can wander around the small harbour, explore the castle or take a boat trip. There are lots of places to eat in the area, offering choices from a popular hotel to fish and chips, if you don’t fancy cooking! The local shop and post office just at the end of the lane is convenient for picking up basic items, fresh fruit and vegetables.

A very clean and well presented property. The house was lovely! I booked it for my parents and they loved it! There was a pub and shop, which was ideal. Their car could be parked outside the house for convenience too. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. Well worth the money.

We did leave our comments in the book provided!?We absolutely loved the cottage and wished we could have stayed longer!Everything was perfect, really comfy beds, bathroom, for each of us!! Kitchen so well equipped! It's such a cosy place 🥰🥰🥰Bearing in mind,we had our stay in November, the central heating kept us toasty, with the Bonus of a log stove!! Amenities on our doorstep was amazing! We came from a Village in Wiltshire, that has lost our Shop and Pub. So it was heaven to wander down to the shop and also the Pub,at our convenience 🤩!!!The Village and History is,so much worth an explore!? Went to Carne Beach, bit of an adventure on foot, but well worth it !!!Hoping to come back soon 😊😊😊😊
