Head upstairs to discover the pièce de résistance, a magnificent open-plan living area boasting a beamed vaulted ceiling and awe-inspiring rural views. The kitchen is a modern space featuring a huge breakfast bar that’s great for prepping cooked breakfasts and sandwiches for tomorrow. Switch on the coffee machine and make yourself a welcome brew as you relax into your temporary environs. After days out at the beach, sink into one of the sofas and view a film on the Smart TV. You can enjoy leisurely meals at the large dining table, positioned next to huge glass doors and balcony so you can admire the wonderful views as you dine. The enclosed garden is wonderful for enjoying the Cornish fresh air and sizzling up yummy BBQs for al fresco feasts.

When it’s time to head out, borrow the owners’ kayak and stand-up paddle board for a fun afternoon down at Portwrinkle Beach. Golf fans can enjoy a round at the course right next to the village (0.5 miles), while walkers will be keen to join the South West Coast Path for magnificent strolls. Six miles away, join the Torpoint ferry for a trip across the River Tamar to Plymouth (8 miles).
