A haven for outdoor enthusiasts and beachgoers, Solana offers a contemporary base for four guests, looking to tour the delights of the county, whilst well-positioned near local amenities and attractions. Benefit from a designated parking space before travelling down the stone steeps, set into the cliffside. Take in the stunning views, encompassing your new abode, before stepping indoors to reach the open-plan living space, bordered by turquoise waters in the backdrop. The kitchen is fully-equipped for a self-catered stay, where you can prepare meals to be enjoyed around the dining table for four, or if the weather allows, dine alfresco in a prime location. With plush seating to sink into, unwind and plan your impending itinerary in the sitting area, before completing your nightly routine in the sleek shower room. Two double bedrooms await, where you can make yourself at home and catch some rest, before exploring the area, heading into the village for your essential’s amenities. A popular activity with visitors, don your walking boots and follow the trails along the Rame Peninsula, stopping off at several of the bays and beaches dotted along the route, including Cawsand Beach, Cleave Beach, and Sandways Beach. Continuing north, be sure to stop off at Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park, a fun-filled day for all the family, where you can tour the magnificent home, enjoy an alpaca experience, or segway around the external grounds, whilst Barn Pool Beach offers a further seaside landscape to enjoy, along the coastal path. Set in a bowl of hills at the head of a tidal creek that leads to the Hamoaze, opposite the great naval city of Plymouth, Millbrook is located on the Rame Peninsula, "Cornwall's Forgotten Corner". Bounded by the Lynher and Tamar rivers, the Hamoaze and the sea, the area is deeply rural and designated as one of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village has a good range of shops and pubs, while close by are the pretty coastal villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, from which a ferry will take you to Plymouth. Along the southern edges of the peninsula are miles of beautiful walks with glorious views of Rame Head. Just a mile south of Millbrook lies Whitsand Bay with its miles of uncrowded sandy rnli patrolled beach and dramatic cliffs. A superb base for discovering the wild side of Cornwall.
