Also close by is the medieval village of Tintagel, with its craggy ruins steeped in myths and legends and home to Tintagel Castle, one of the most spectacular historic sites in Britain and where you can walk over the stunning new 60 meter bridge set between two cliffs, and the picture postcard fishing village of Boscastle. In addition, and just slightly further afield, the coastal villages of Port Isaac, where TV s Doc Martin is filmed, Padstow, Rock, are all well worth a visit and a haven for foodies. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include stunning Bodmin Moor and numerous National Trust properties and gardens.
