Out front, the garden offers a peaceful place to breathe in the sea air and map out the day’s plans. Whether your idea of a break is windswept walks or lazy afternoons, Sea Ledge makes a superb base for your Cornish adventure. The property hosts three attractively furnished bedrooms, two doubles for a restful night’s sleep, and a flexible family room with a single and bunk beds, perfect for younger guests or extra company. A family bathroom with a bath and shower over completes the setup, ensuring a comfortable stay for all. For history enthusiasts, Tintagel Castle, once the stronghold of the Cornish Kings, is a must-visit; roam around this English Heritage site and breathe in the beauty and mystery that inspired the Arthurian legends.

Be sure to also visit the National Trust's Tintagel Old Post Office, a 14th-century, Grade I listed building with a distinctive, undulating roof. Set amidst a glen, St Nectan's Waterfall is truly enchanting; listen to the soothing sound of cascading water and marvel at its splendour. For those intrigued by the supernatural, there’s The Museum of Witchcraft and Magic, where you can take a trip through the history of witchcraft. Trebarwith Strand is a small hamlet just 2 miles south west of Tintagel. With just a few dwellings and a country pub, this beach side community provides a great magnet for surfers and coastal path walkers. With majestic scenery, high cliffs and rocky coves to explore it's the perfect holiday retreat, while Tintagel with King Arthur's castle, a selection of cafes and restaurants and an old Post Office is just one mile away over the cliff tops. The area is perfect for exploring the major surfing beaches to the south as well as the open spaces of Bodmin Moor just 10 miles to the east. The major beach resort of Bude is 19 miles away while Boscastle with its quaint harbour and pottery is just 5 miles away. Newquay, the Eden Project and the cathedral city of Truro can all be reached within 60 minutes by car.

During Summer School Holidays only weekly bookings can be accommodated starting on a Friday.
