Tucked away in the grounds of the owners home it will appeal to couples looking for a romantic getaway. The dining area opens to a functional kitchen with an electric 2 ring hob built into a small freestanding oven. There is a double bedroom and shower room with walk-in shower and WC. Stylish furnishings and fabrics blend cleverly with the outside environment to create a warm, inviting ambience. Enjoy the beautiful views over open countryside from the pretty patio and garden, where you can relax with a chilled drink on the benches dotted around or dine alfresco in the sunshine. The villages of Stithians, Perranwell and Ponsanooth are nearby with shops, inns and restaurants. The Seven Stars pub in Stithians serves good pub food and local beer, and is a short drive or 20 minute walk from the property. Falmouth is just 7 miles away, a vibrant town with vast harbour, shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Hop on a boat trip from the town quay to take in the spectacle from the water or to visit St Mawes and Truro by boat. Stithians has a small Post Office/store, a fish and chip shop and a pub which serves good food. When you wish to explore there are many country walks, one of which will take you to Stithians Lake, popular for watersports, angling and birdwatching, where you can sample the local ale and excellent fare at The Golden Lion Inn, within a few miles of the bustling maritime resort of Falmouth.

The cabin is well insulated and has instant hot water. There are comfortable couches and all the comforts you would expect, including a range of kitchen equipment. If I could have one wish, it would be to have a more sophisticated stove/oven. The system is limited as you cannot have the oven and hob on at the same time, so cooking has to be well timed. That said, everything else was excellent and the lovely owners even provided a coffee machine and packet of delicious Cornish biscuits.

The surroundings were beautiful at the cabin and we loved the walks, especially the Stithians Dam and Lake area. Itâs all such a wonderful part of Cornwall. Jilly & Dennis.

Quite a hideaway from the crowds with local walks to Stithians village and reservoir. Wooden cabin with all facilities by extended lawn, shrubbery and pond.
