Gulls Cottage is a pretty detached, self -catering holiday cottage. A lovely family friendly holiday property that can sleep eight guests in four bedrooms with three bathrooms. Guests have ample parking available and lovely gardens at the front and rear. It is light and modern, furnished and equipped to a very high standard and in a perfect location to explore the ever-popular Camel Estuary on the North Cornwall coast. The accommodation upstairs provides a sumptuous super king bed with a fitted shower en-suite, another king size bedroom, shower room, a twin bedroom and a bunk bedroom. Downstairs is a large, sleek and contemporary kitchen with dining area which is perfect for family feasts, and a separate sitting room for everyone to relax in plus new family room to add versatility. After busy days by the sea, head for the terrace to find a tranquil spot for evening drinks. When returning from your sandy antics at the beach, there is also the useful benefit of an additional utility room. Rock and the North Cornish coast has so much to offer; delicious restaurants for foodies, water sports and spectacular coastal paths. Surfers can enjoy the waves at Polzeath. The famous Eden Project is well worth a visit and only a 40-minute drive away.
Rock is a desirable and much sought after coastal village located on the north eastern bank of the River Camel opposite the famous harbour town of Padstow which is easily reached by a regular ferry service. The summer home of royalty and celebrities offering top class restaurants and quality shops, the real draw is the array of watersports including sailing, water skiing, windsurfing and angling. Continuing on a sporting theme, the golf course at nearby St Enodoc is considered to be one of the best in the country. With an abundance of world class beaches all within a short radius it is easy to see why Rock holds its popularity.

As the weather was wonderful the wet suits were not needed; had we needed to dry 5 wet suits - it may have been problematic. Kitchen/diner leading to garden was great, and we ate out in the garden each evening; Two sitting rooms a bonus - one for the grandchildren and one for the adults !! Showers etc all worked well. Less good - the fridge freezer probably needs replacing soon.

The extension is a good addition and is well done. The garden was lovely. Some of the house is modern and other parts could do with a bit of a refresh. The sofas in the main living room were uncomfortable and not big enough to fit us as a family. We payed a discounted rate for a last minute booking - for the price we paid Iâm very happy with the booking. Iâm not sure I would have paid the full amount and if I did I would have been a little disappointed mainly as as there is a lot of property in the area at a higher standard for around the same money.

The house has been recently renovated and is spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped with comfy beds and great showers. Itâs also in a great location - ideal for exploring the beautiful North Cornish Coast. Weâll be back!
