Positioned on a site 2.5 miles from Rock and 3.5 miles from Wadebridge, it could also suit those seeking proximity to unspoiled beaches as well as guests eager to get out and about in the countryside. Pack your swimwear and beach towels and head to the golden sands and clear waters of Rock Beach, 4.5 miles away, or venture 5 miles to Polzeath, which is popular with surfers as well as swimmers. From Rock, hop aboard a ferry to vibrant Padstow on the other side of the Camel Estuary. Potter in the shops and galleries here and dine out in one of its renowned seafood restaurants.

Make your way into the stylish lodge via the hallway, where you can leave your bags, shoes and any other outerwear. From here, wander into the heart of the holiday home to discover a welcoming, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with furniture and furnishings drawn from a palette of fashionable greys and blacks, complemented by tones of natural wood. Sink back into the soft seating to watch the Smart TV, read your book or play a game. Open the French doors in this part of the room during the warmer months to extend the living space. The contemporary kitchen has been designed with everything you will need for your self-catering break. Dine at the table beside glass doors that lead onto the deck. As night falls on each superb day away, treat yourselves to an excellent night’s sleep in either of the two bedrooms. These include a king-size and a zip-and-link twin (can be made into a super-king-size on request). Each of these bedrooms features an en-suite shower room and are located off the main entrance hall.
