Padstow is 3 miles west with all the attractions, including working harbour, celebrity chef restaurant and shops and galleries galore. This stunning area on the north Cornish coast will provide many fun-filled outings. Explore the scenic coastline along the South West Coast Path, reached within paces from the cottage. Experience the Harlyn Bay Surf School, or discover the famed, picturesque Camel Estuary and much loved Rock resort, a haven for sailing. Closer to home, swim, paddle and watch children and pets play safely on Harlyn Beach. There are 3 restaurants located approximately 1 mile away including Rickstein's Cornish Arms plus a takeaway Fish & Chips. PIG has recently opened up at Harlyn Bay which is approximately half a mile away. Harlyn Bay is situated in Cornwall with a large arc of sandy beach, safe for swimming, surfing and dog friendly all-year-round. Connected to the South West Coastal Path this is also an ideal location for walkers. Nearby, Padstow lies at the head of the Camel Trail along the Camel Estuary and local cycle hire shops enable visitors to enjoy the area easily. Just around the corner toward Pentire Head is surfing at Polzeath, and when the beach no longer calls there are several stately homes and gardens to visit as well as special events at the Cornish County Showground.
