About this property

St.Dominic Cottage is a characterful ex fisherman’s three storey retreat set in the heart of St Ives, offering a comfortable stay for up to four guests. Step inside to the kitchen/diner,which used to be the fish cellar, where you can prepare meals with ease before gathering around the table to enjoy them together. Head up to the first-floor sitting room, a welcoming space to unwind after wandering the town’s galleries, narrow streets and coastal paths. Across the upper floors, the cottage features two bedrooms, including a second-floor double and a second-floor twin with TV, giving flexible options for families or friends.

A ground-floor shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC serves the main living areas, while a second-floor cloakroom adds an extra touch of convenience. With the beach just a short stroll away, you’re perfectly placed to make the most of St Ives, from its bustling harbour to its cafés, galleries and restaurants. A nearby shop and pub keep everything within easy reach. From the doorstep, art lovers can explore Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, while beachgoers can enjoy the golden sands of Porthmeor Beach. The surrounding area offers plenty more to see, with Carbis Bay and Zennor both nearby, and Penzance within driving distance for a mix of promenade walks and local culture.

Walkers can also take in scenic stretches of the South West Coast Path. St. Dominic Cottage makes a great base for soaking up the charm of this much-loved Cornish town.

One of Cornwall's prettiest harbour towns, St Ives offers narrow streets, tight-packed cottages nestling around the quayside, the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth museum, fabulous beaches, superb shops, a thriving community of artists, great pubs and restaurants and much more. With its semi Bohemian lifestyle and romantic air, it's easy to see why this is the county's premier holiday resort. The surrounding area has much for the visitor to see and do with abundant wildlife, fabulous coastal walks, top quality surfing and the Celtic mysteries of the Land's End Peninsula are all within easy reach. A superb destination!
