Lodge 53 Una offers a delightful stay near St Ives, with guests praising its proximity to beautiful beaches and coastal walks. The accommodation is appreciated for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and homely feel, with a responsive management team ensuring a comfortable experience. While some guests noted signs of wear, recent refurbishments have addressed these concerns, enhancing the lodge's appeal.
The lodge is generally regarded as clean, with specific mentions of it being 'spotlessly clean on arrival'. However, a few reviews noted it appeared 'tired', which could slightly detract from the overall perception of cleanliness.
The location is well-received for its beauty and proximity to beaches and St Ives, although one review notes it is actually in Carbis Bay. The scenic surroundings contribute to a positive rating.
Comfort is praised with mentions of 'huge' beds and a 'homely' lodge, but there is a negative comment about a firm bed and difficult stairs, which may affect guests with specific needs.
Facilities like the spa and pool are commended, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as 'cracked tiles' and 'damaged kitchen units'. Recent refurbishments seem to have improved the situation.
While guests have mentioned welcome treats and a generous hamper, there is not enough consistent information across reviews to accurately score thoughtfulness. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.
Escape to Una, relax and unwind in serene surroundings with on-site leisure facilities and a lavish spa experience. Immerse yourself in nature’s beauty while enjoying ultimate tranquillity, making it the perfect retreat..

The Lodge was equipped to a high standard and the housekeeping staff and hot tub maintenance person were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend staying here.

What an absolute gem of luck to find this accommodation during the Christmas break, we had a fantastic break here leading into the New Year. The Lodge was spotlessly clean on our arrival and included a generous welcome hamper package of food consumables and cleaning products, (including a super bottle of wine!)The host had addressed the required repairs mentioned in previous reviews, the rear outdoor decking was brand new, door and window furniture had been replaced and we had tip top cosy bathrooms, bedrooms and living accommodation. All the Per Una onsite amenities were clearly and logically displayed, and the timetables and altered New Year opening times still left plenty of time to enjoy the spa, pool, and gym. Overall the site vibe was relaxed, safe and tastefully decorated, as was our Lodge, which was an additional thoughtful touch. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this holiday option to other families - Very happy break away for us and we will be returning !
