About this property

Quentin's overlooks the famous and fabulous resort of St Ives with its picturesque harbour, the sandy harbour beach and a stunning panoramic seascape across the bay towards Godrevy Lighthouse. Arranged over two floors, this snug top floor apartment is presented to a high standard throughout and offers flexible accommodation for four guests. Large picture windows in the living room frame this iconic coastline, rated as one of the most scenic in Britain - and rightly so! Enjoy a morning coffee whilst watching the colourful fishing and pleasure boats leave their anchorage or dine by candlelight and watch the dramatic sunset over the Atlantic. The apartment has a contemporary interior, combining fresh white decor and soft beige carpeting with bold luxurious furnishings. The living room has a plump corner settee and access onto a small sea facing private balcony with pair of bistro style chairs and there is a small open plan modern kitchen that is beautifully appointed for the keenest of wood-be chefs. There are two king size bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room and the other (accessed by a quirky spiral staircase, regrettably unsuitable for the infirm) set into the eaves which has a king size bed as well as a single, both of which are set on low mattresses. There is a second shower room up here too. Outside there is off-road parking for one car approx. 40 metres from the property entrance. The harbour and four, world-class beaches are within a short stroll and amidst the busy town's narrow cobbled streets are shops, art galleries, numerous inns, cafes and restaurants. Further afield, Lands End, St Michael’s Mount and the Minack Theatre are all within a 30 minute drive. Quentin's is perfect for couples, friends or a family at any time of year.

One of Cornwall's prettiest harbour towns, St Ives offers narrow streets, tight-packed cottages nestling around the quayside, the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth museum, fabulous beaches, superb shops, a thriving community of artists, great pubs and restaurants and much more. With its semi Bohemian lifestyle and romantic air, it's easy to see why this is the county's premier holiday resort. The surrounding area has much for the visitor to see and do with abundant wildlife, fabulous coastal walks, top quality surfing and the Celtic mysteries of the Land's End Peninsula are all within easy reach. A superb destination!
