When you start to feel peckish, make your way through to the shaker-style kitchen to rustle up some culinary delights with the help of the induction hob, oven, fridge and handy dishwasher for keeping your space tidy. Settle down around the dining table to savour a delicious meal as you make plans with your loved ones for the days ahead. Make your way up to the first floor, where you will find a beautiful crisp white shower room, where you can wash off sandy toes in the walk-in shower, as your towel warms on the nearby heated towel rail. As your eyes grow heavy, retire to one of two well-appointed bedrooms, a king-size with a beautiful free-standing copper bath, and a double, both of which feature a Smart TV and plenty of storage for your belongings. Take advantage of your excellent surroundings and venture straight to the harbour where you can soak up the stunning sea views or explore the rock pools speckled along the shores. The Shambles is surrounded by a plethora of pubs, restaurants and cafes, so you will never be short of places to dine out for those evenings where you don’t feel like cooking! Just a short walk away is Port Gaverne Beach, where you can enjoy cliff-top walks with scenic views or exploring the rugged caves. For those looking for something a little more hands-on, why not get involved in the watersports offered at Cornish Rock Tors, here you can take to the waters kayaking and paddleboarding and explore tranquil coves. Just a short drive away is the village of Polzeath, home to a gloriously sandy beach where you can tuck-in to fresh fish and chips with the sand between your toes, catch some sun or try your hand at the popular Cornish watersport of surfing.
