A Stone’s throw from the harbour in Port Isaac, Morleys Cottage is a traditional fisherman’s cottage with a contemporary interior. Benefitting from allocated parking at the top of the village for one car, Morleys Cottage sleeps up to four guests in two bedrooms and is ideally suited to a small family or a couple seeking a romantic break on the Cornish coast. The history of the property can still be evidenced by the slate flag floors, large stone fireplace and exposed beams that are on show in all the rooms. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped for self-catering during your stay, and the living/dining room has a welcoming and homely feel – especially when you light the woodburning stove and settle in for the evening. Upstairs, there is a family bathroom with walk-in shower, a master bedroom which has views of the sea and harbour, and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds – perfect for a family with children. Being so close to harbour means you can step foot out of the door and watch the fishing boats come and go or head off for a stroll along the coast to Port Gaverne. There are plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants to dine out in during your stay but if you are looking for somewhere new then why not head to Padstow, where you will find loads of restaurants, including several belonging to TV chef Rick Stein, serving local produce and seafood. Padstow also has lots of family friendly attractions such as the National Lobster Hatchery, Padstow Lifeboat Station, and Padstow Museum, which chronicles the history of the town.
