From the hallway, head into the sitting room that features a woodburning stove, perfect for cosying up after blustery coastal walks. Alternatively, when you want a spot to eat, head to the open-plan, well-equipped kitchen and dining area with seating for six people.

A double bedroom is located on the ground floor, adjacent to the sitting room, and features a double bed and en-suite shower room. On this floor, you’ll also find a WC and an airing cupboard, both located off the hallway, and a utility room accessible from both outdoors and the kitchen.

From the hallway, stairs lead to up to the first floor with a family bathroom and two bedrooms – a double bedroom with king-size bed and sea views, and a twin bedroom that’s ideal for kids.

Outside is a spacious patio and garden with seating, and there is also a convenient washing line too. On the driveway, there is parking available for three cars, so you can explore further afield without the hassle of finding a space on your return.

Just a five-minute downhill walk from your cottage is the harbour, where traditional buildings boast shops, eateries and galleries, and at low tide a small shingle beach is revealed, the perfect spot to enjoy fish and chips. For a fantastic family experience, head to Wadebridge to cycle the famous Camel Trail towards beautiful Padstow – the views are amazing!

A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village.
