Enjoy all that this stunning region has to offer by exploring the rugged coastline on foot, taking in sights of rare birds and occasionally seals or dolphins, or embark on a ‘walk and talk’ tour of the village to learn more about filming spots from the popular ‘Doc Martin’ TV show or ‘Fisherman’s Friends’ film.

Offering spacious and charming accommodation, Fairholme is perfectly positioned for those looking for a peaceful retreat within walking distance of all that pretty Port Isaac has to offer.

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village.

The two sofas were very comfortable (not always the case in holiday properties!) and the showers and bath were excellent, plenty of hot water. Lovely conservatory, but we found it quite hard to operate the blinds as they seemed reluctant to move! The open tread staircase has wooden treads which had been really well cleaned and polished, however quite slippery if you walked around in stockinged feet. We’d definitely stay here again, (perhaps a visitors book might be a useful addition for obtaining feedback too?), such a lovely property.

We wanted to be within walking distance of the harbour but with the convenience of parking - Fairholme delivers this! The bedrooms and en-suites were perfect for two couples. The kitchen had all we needed. The info in the pack seems to need updating for refuse collection day?

Kitchen has everything you could ever need plus more. Thank you for a lovely stay
