A wonderful detached house, perfect for sharing with your large family or group of friends. Driftwood is a spacious, modern, well-equipped house that has been comfortably furnished for the ideal holiday home.
The main living room at the front of the house has enough space for you all to gather as a group; in addition there is a second smaller snug at the rear, with French doors that lead out to the rear garden. The spacious kitchen/dining room with central island is great for those meals as a family. From here you can also step out into the garden from the patio doors. The ground floor facilities make this house accessible too. An extra benefit is the utility room, from where you can access the locked garage, which is great to store your bikes and boards in when you don’t need them.
Just a short walk will take you down into the oldest part of Port Isaac, with its narrow winding streets and fishing harbour. Make sure you have your photo taken outside Doc Martin’s cottage and enjoy fish and chips whilst you capture the view. Beach ¼ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

Such a wonderful property in a gorgeous Cornish town. The house itself is absolutely lovely, with 3 of the 4 bedrooms having full en-suites with showers. The kitchen-diner and living room are both really spacious and at no time did my family of 6 ever feel cramped or under each-others feet. The garden is fantastic with a wonderful dining suite to eat al-fresco and is sun-drenched in the afternoon if you're into sun bathing. If not (like myself) you can always cower in the nice cool shade of the tree. On arrival we met the host (we were a little earlier than planned and she was just finishing off preparations) who is absolutely lovely and had provided tea and Cornish biscuits for us which was a fantastic touch. We also didn't need to worry about things like soap, dishwasher tablets etc which made our arrival so much easier and relaxed. I genuinely can't recommend Driftwood enough as a holiday home. Port Issac is a beautiful little harbour town and nearby is Boscastle which is picture-postcard gorgeous! The beach at nearby Polzeath is glorious and the coastal path hikes are a joy. Truly something for everyone!
