Brakestone Cottage is a traditional property nestled in the centre of Port Isaac, on the north coast of Cornwall. Set over three-floors, Brakestone Cottage sleeps up to six guests and is within close proximity to shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants. The entrance opens in to an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting room, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind after a day of sight-seeing. The compact kitchen has everything necessary to rustle up a light lunch or a hearty evening meal. There are three bedrooms set over the first and second floors; a generous sized double-room on the first floor, and two twin rooms with vaulted ceilings on the second floor. The family bathroom on the first floor includes a bath and overhead shower. Port Isaac is an idyllic setting where you can relax and unwind from the stresses of normal life, whether that’s sunning yourself on the beach, enjoying a drink in one of the pubs, or dining out in one of the many fine restaurants. Just along the coast are further beaches to explore at Port Gaverne and Port Quin, or why not head to Polzeath and try your hand at surfing. Fishing and wildlife watching trips out to sea can be embarked on from the quaint harbour, while the South West Coast Path is another excellent way to take in the breath-taking Cornish coastal scenery. Brakestone Cottage is in an ideal location to discover everything that North Cornwall has to offer.

Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village.
