Nestled in the picturesque Tamar Valley, this beautifully renovated cottage has been completed to a high specification to provide cosy yet stylish accommodation for six guests. The decked area to the rear of the property is a fantastic place for alfresco dining in the summer months, with the two woodburners creating a cosier retreat in the winter months - the perfect way to end your day exploring this stunning area of outstanding national beauty.

Rivendell is ideally situated for visiting both Cornwall and Devon, with many lovely walks, beaches and towns in easy driving distance. St Mellion Golf Club is approx 10 minutes drive and Cotehele House, a beautiful National Trust property, is within a 30 minute walk or a 10 minute drive.  There are several good local pubs serving great food too.  Callington is the nearest local town, a 15 minute drive and ideal for stocking up on provisions, or a take away. Or you could venture further afield to the city of Plymouth, with its famous Hoe and Barbican or Tavistock a lovely market town with some great individual shops and pannier market.

parking: There is private parking for up to 3 cars in a parking area next to the owners house - approximately 20 yards away.

Changeover Day: Friday - arrival 4:00pm - departure 10:00am

Pets: Sorry, no pets.

Security Deposit:  £100

Power and Heat: Electricity and gas included in price. Rivendell has two log burners and a basket of logs is provided.  There is a small charge for more logs.

Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels.
