… at the end of a farm lane ½ mile from the pub at Edmonton, with commanding views over the Camel estuary, a detached, mid-18th cent. farmhouse (no farm now) with eccentric uneven floors and bags of charm. At the front, a lawned garden encircled by meadows. From the garden gate, across four fields (700 yards), is the Camel Trail; turn left and you come to Padstow, turn right and you reach Wadebridge.
The house is comfortable in a rather charming, casual, elegant manner. Living room with inglenook (open fire), TV/DVD and door and view to garden and estuary; dining room with that same lovely view; kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, freezer, larder fridge, oil-fired Aga plus electric cooker) with door to side garden. Ground-floor shower-room (suite). Stairs from the living room up to four bedrooms – two double (one with TV) with lovely views, a twin (2’6” beds), and a single (cabin bed); bathroom (suite). A relaxing, out-of-the-way place.

"The house was just what we were looking for. We had a family group of 7 (plus baby) and it was ideally placed The owner was very friendly, house well supplied with routine things, as plenty of cutlery and crockery."

"Loved the area, we also stay at Tretawn Farm. House was indeed quirky but enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and lovely views. Hope to visit again. "

"A wonderful cottage in a fabulous location. The Aga is a blessing as the autumn approaches."
