The perfect holiday cottage for 2.The Old Wash House is a cosy and well equipped cottage in a quiet rural position. The owners have kept some of the original features of the former wash house, which give the cottage a unique character. It is spacious, the kitchen ihas everything you need - we loved the Portmeirion crockery - the bed is very comfortable and there is plenty of storage space. The bathroom is much bigger than normally expected for a small cottage and all the rooms are furnished with an eye for detail. On our arrival we found a welcome pack, which was much appreciated. We felt very much at home in this lovely house and would certrainly recommend it.Thank you for a wonderful week.

Our second visit to the Old Wash House, still a quiet & peaceful location. The regular visits from the little grey & white cat made it even more pleasurable. The local Griggs store is well worth visiting especially the restaurant! Only gave four stars because the WIFI has a very poor signal and then only in a specific place in the cottage.
