About this property

Set at the heart of the quaint, Cornish village of Mevagissey, rests this charming, two-bedroom holiday home, 7 Fore Street. Boasting tastefully-presented living areas and fantastic positioning to nearby amenities and attractions, this delightful, three-storey property welcomes four guests for a self-catered, fuss-free escape to the coast of Cornwall. Once you're unpacked, make yourself at home in your new lodgings by getting acquainted with the well-equipped kitchen, where you and your loved ones can whip up a delicious, home-cooked meal to be savoured around the dining table whilst you catch up on the day's events. In the evenings, be sure to indulge in a long, rejuvenating shower before catching your sleep in one of two inviting bedrooms, both of which await to whisk you off to a night of well-earned rest. After enjoying your morning coffee as you gaze out into the centre of the village from your kitchen window, be sure to explore Mevagissey and all it has to offer, by stocking up on supplies at Mevagissey News, picking up some souvenirs at The Corner Shop, settling down for some traditional pub fare at The Sharksfin, or spend some time roaming the grounds of the Mevagissey Museum and the idyllic Mevagissey Harbour Wall. A short drive south along the coast will bring you to the hamlet of Penare, where you can take a stroll along the lush sands of Hemmick Beach, take in sea views at Porthmeor Beach, or watch waves crash against the cliffs of the National Trust scenic point of The Dodman. During your stay in The Roseland Heritage Coast, be sure to not miss the Trelissick Garden National Trust spot, The Lost Gardens Heligan, or the stunning beaches of Carne, Towan and Porthcurnick. All of this and more is waiting to be enjoyed during your stay at 7 Fore Street.

The ideal Cornish fishing community, complete with narrow streets made of cobblestone and a lovely harbour dotted with boats. The coast offers breathtaking treks in both directions, with sand beaches, towering cliffs, and secret coves to discover. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are only up the road, and the village has a great selection of pubs and eateries. From Easter to September, a ferry service connects Mevagissey and Fowey. Spend some time in Charlestown's (7-mile) Tall Ships Harbour and its shipwreck museum or at the renowned Eden Project's tropical biomes (11 miles). A short drive from Truro, with its shops, restaurants, theatre, and church, and a half-hour journey from the breathtaking Roseland Peninsula's lovely coastline, fantastic beaches, and renowned gardens.

Everything you need on the doorstep. Shops, pubs, & most restaurants are very dog friendly Only issue we had was noise at night. There’s a members only bar just opposite that close at midnight & the noise when people are leaving was bad. Lots of shouting & people hanging around outside until 1am every night we were there. We had windows open due to the heatwave which probably didn’t help. Other than that a very enjoyable holiday amongst very friendly people.
