Surrounded by trees, it’s in a complex of high-quality holiday lodges just 0.5 miles from the coastal village of Porthtowan, where the spectacular beach is the main draw. Excellent waves make this a mecca for surfers, and there are several surf schools based here for hiring equipment and booking lessons. The village is also home to a small selection of pubs, beach cafes and takeaways, while chic St Agnes (3 miles) has a wider choice of places to eat. For fabulous views, walk the coast path to Chapel Porth Beach (2 miles), or explore the beaches at Perranporth and Portreath, both within 7 miles. For a day of shopping, Truro is just 9.5 miles away.

Take the steps at the front to the raised deck and head into the main living space, an impressive, open-plan area that has been thoughtfully furnished for a luxurious stay.
