Absolutely loved staying in the shepard hut! It added to the experience in beautiful St Agnes. The village is lovely with a few small busineses, cafes, restaurants & a bakery. The Shepherd Hut was 10/10, super clean and decent sized and had everything we needed for our stay. The views were gorgeous and there are a number of beaches a short drive away. Nigel was very friendly and recommended lots of places to eat after our 6 hour journey! The location is super convenient to travel to other places within Cornwall too. I would 100% stay here again!

We had the loveliest stay in the Wheal Shepherd Hut. Nigel was so warm and welcoming from the moment that we stepped in, having already thought of every detail to share with us - from takeaway recommendations to where would be best to park in every area etc. The area is beautiful and with all of the wildlife around you, the perfect place to pause and breathe. We even spotted a deer from the window! It was in a really handy location for travelling to and from our favourite corners of Cornwall too, like St Ives and Falmouth. Everything that we needed in a holiday and more!

Such a peaceful stay. We had no stres from the host, even whilst having a little mix up on our end. They offered exceptional service, gave us flexibility to check out late due to a relaxed turn over time and even accommodated us with extra amenities free of charge as a kind gesture. The hut itself was perfect, the space was bigger than usual Shepards huts, heating and hot water were easy and quick to use, the whole place inside and out was spotles, the shower was heavenly, and I also had to take note of the brands of the mattres and pillows because it was the most comfy bed we had ever slept on. 10/10 stay and will no doubt we will be back the next time we are around. If you want a quiet, rural stay with beautiful views and a comfy bed, this is the one.
