About this property

Settled in the sought-after village of St Agnes in Cornwall, rests this delightful, four-bedroom home, Gwel-an-Tansys. Just a stone's throw away from a sandy beach and close to a selection of eateries, this contemporary home is idyllic for both family and friends alike. Leave your vehicle in a private parking space before making your way inside to the entrance hallway; here you can kick off your shoes, ready to make yourself at home. Discover the bright and airy living/dining room, where you can curl up besides the woodburning stove with a good book. Enjoy meals and board games at the dining table to make the most of the time together and tuck-into tasty treats. On warm evenings, throw open the patio doors to the pretty, rear garden and why not sit on the outdoor furniture and enjoy views of the village and St Agnes Beacon. Head back inside and locate the spacious kitchen, certain to entice budding chefs with its electric oven and hob backed by colourful tiles. After an action-packed day on the beach, freshen up your clothes in the utility room, courtesy of the washing machine and tumble dryer. Escape the group for some quiet time in the snug room where a TV can keep you entertained for the evening. Climb upstairs to the first floor and why not indulge in a soak in the tub before hitting the sheets? There are four beautifully presented bedrooms to rest your head; choose between three doubles, one with an en-suite and TV or opt for the single bedroom. Awaken with a cup of coffee in the garden to soak in the view before planning the day ahead. The thriving village of St Agnes offers a museum to unveil its past, a rugged coastline with stunning views and sandy coves where you can discover rock pools. Jump in the car to visit the seaside town of Perranporth to snorkel in crystal clear waters, test your swing at the hilly golf course and grab refreshments from the beachfront restaurant, The Watering Hole. Be sure to take the little ones to the friendly town of Newquay, here you can marvel at marine life at the Blue Reef Aquarium, get up-close to your favourite animals at the zoo and rent a boat at Trenance Gardens. For memories you will cherish, choose Gwel-an-Tansys.

St Agnes is a bustling scenic community on the Cornish coast, with four beaches on its doorstep and beautiful scenery surrounding it. Swim or surf in the crystal-clear seas, walk along the footpaths and bridleways, or take a stroll along the South West Coast Path. Local activities include coasteering, kayaking, and horseback riding, and St Agnes has a variety of events and concerts for the whole family to enjoy. The local shops have an intriguing array of produce, from sweet delights to one-of-a-kind pieces of art as a one-of-a-kind remembrance of your Cornish vacation, and there is a fantastic range of dining options, including two Great Cornish Food Awards in 2015.

What a wonderful property with great facilities and an amazing location. With a short cut down the lane to the village and beach. The walks above the cliffs are breathtaking where you can see Tin mines and sunsets that are stunning. We will be back I hope one day soon as the village has all you need and a trip of 4 miles in ether direction gives you even more beach options. Thank you for a super stay
