The larger bedroom is conveniently located near the kitchen and bathroom, offering comfort and easy access. The second bedroom sits on the opposite side of the living and dining space, ensuring privacy.
A short stroll from the property immerses you in serene landscapes, perfect for leisurely walks with family and two dogs. Venture a bit further to discover the historic Scorrier Estate, host to the Great Estate Festival, a vibrant celebration of music, art, and culture held from May 30th to June 1st, 2025. As you traverse the area, you’ll encounter remnants of Cornwall’s rich mining heritage. The Great Flat Lode trail offers a glimpse into this past, featuring well-preserved engine houses like those at South Wheal Frances Mine, which was most productive between 1844 and 1895. An absolute gem. A perfect holiday home with every amenity and the most delightful hosts and with scones and cream to greet you. Situated in a tranquil, wooded area yet close to the A30 (Redruth bypass), it allows easy access to the other parts of West Cornwall without the need to drive down long narrow lanes. Highly recommended.

Had a fabulous stay for February half term. It was ideal for us as a family of 4. We wanted to be close to Portreath beach as it's our special place so this was a great location for us. The Pines was a great base and was beautifully decorated. Everything we wanted was available including washing machine, tumble dryer, hair dryer, towels etc. We had a lovely gift on arrival as well with scones, jam and clotted cream along with a pack of Cornish biscuits. Caroline welcomed us and was so lovely. She even posted a couple of items on to us that we'd accidentally left behind. We'll definitely be back.
