The bathroom completes the interior, offering a luxurious walk-in shower. The back door opens out onto fabulous views over Bridge Valley’s woodland, while the large grassy play area at the back of the cottage provides a lovely spot for family games. When you’re ready to explore, the surroundings enjoy scenic countryside, whilst also being near the coast, giving you the best of both worlds during your stay; a few attractions can be found nearby, too, including the fascinating Cornwall Gold and Tolgus Mill. Hop in the car and venture over to the fishing port of Portreath, home to a handful of attractions, including the popular Porthtreath Beach and Harbour, while the scenic South West Coastal Path provides a wonderful route for walkers. Illogan, a little ex-tin-mining village situated south of Camborne, is nestled among fields and open countryside, only 2 miles from the sea and Portreath's beautiful beach. The cities of St Ives and Penzance, with its art galleries, restaurants, and picturesque harbours, are 10 miles distant, and the beaches on both the North and South coasts are only minutes away by car. Other attractions in this attractive region include the Flambards theme park, the Gweek seal sanctuary, and the Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station. A fantastic base for a fun-filled family vacation.
