A lovely retreat for families or a couple, this cottage enjoys a peaceful location with plenty of clifftop and coastal walks nearby, perfect for those wanting to explore the area on foot. The interior boasts many rustic features such as the exposed beams. After a day of outdoor exploration, look forward to relaxing in the sitting room, hosting two sofas, a log burner and a TV for entertainment, or simply enjoy the company of your loved ones. The compact but well-equipped kitchen has everything needed for a short break to the country, whilst the dining table provides enough space for all to gather at mealtimes. There are two bedrooms at Bowling Green Cottage, including a double and twin, serviced by a shower room. Head outside and delight in the enclosed garden, taking in the refreshing Cornish air whilst enjoying a cold beverage. The location is ideal for walking and cycling, with easy access to the Tehidy Woods and a cycle path which trails along to Portreath, home to a beautiful sandy beach which is popular with surfing. Travel into the town centre of Camborne for all your amenities, including pubs and restaurants serving fine food and real Cornish ale. Further Cornish delight can be found on the coast of the Godrevy Heritage where you can enjoy more stunning beaches and walking routes, as well as the chance to spot nature both from shore and in the waters whilst surfing. A great base for touring the attractions of West Cornwall.
Camborne is home to Heartlands, which covers 19 acres and is scattered with remnants of the mining industry, providing a free space for visitors to explore the heritage of Cornwall. From Camborne centre, you can follow a town trail or spend the afternoon in the museum before visiting the array of shops and pubs. You are in an ideal position for exploring Land’s End, the Lizard Peninsula, Truro and the Eden Project, which are all worth exploring.

It is well equipped, spotlessly clean and in a great location within easy reach of Camborne, St Ives and the surrounding areas. Naomi and her husband are welcoming and lovely and are on hand to deal with any issues swiftly. We will DEFINITELY be back! Thanks for a wonderful week.

This time for 4 weeks. I think that says it all ! The cottage was spotlessly clean when I arrived with my 5 large dogs. There was plenty of room for all of us, although the cottage was incredibly cosy. A new wood burner & a starter pack of logs, kindling,, firelighters, & matches welcomed ggʻme. .. The finer detail very important to me as I do not drive, so was unable to "pop out to the shops". Naomi & Kevin are super people & a great lover of animals which means a lot to me. They were always on call immediately, but not intrusive.A spectacular view of the immense countryside added to the relaxation of the holiday. Cottage was very well equipped, but if I was going to "nit pick" I would just say that a second smaller frying pan, would have been handy, as being on my own, the one & only very large one was a nuisance at times. Also more cleaning materials as I wanted to leave the cottage as I found it. My dogs love it there, & if they're happy, I'm happy. I was very lucky to find a very reliable, reasonable local dog walker who knew the land well so I used him for the past 2 years. He used to take them out for 2 hours everyday. A Godsend for me. All in all, a very great holiday & I cannot wait to return.
