A modern barn conversion set in the heart of the Cornish mining countryside, Mynheer Farm Bowji is one of two holiday homes that are situated next to the owners' house that lie within the peaceful, rural hamlet of Higher Ninnis, just 6 miles from the golden sandy beaches of the North Cornish Coast. A super holiday away from the coastal melee where friends and families can enjoy a break together. Mynheer Farm Bowji can be booked with Mynheer Farm Barn to sleep up to a total of 8 people. Arranged over one floor with three steps to entry. The generous open plan living space is bright and airy and warmed by the real flames of a large woodburning stove positioned in the corner of a comfortable sitting area furnished with matching cosy red sofas. A dining area occupies a conservatory style section surrounded by glass providing a lovely sunny position for family meals. The kitchen positioned at the far end is well equipped. Two country-style bedrooms each have their own private en-suite shower rooms. Warm summer evenings can be spent on the private patio of which there are two to choose from, furnished with a table and chairs. Enjoy your cream tea a welcome from the owner as you soak up the peaceful countryside surroundings. Wander through 5 acres of fields including a shared, grassed picnic area ideal for family fun and outdoor games. A few minutes walk will take you to Gwennap Pit, an open-air amphitheatre, now a world heritage site, and in the other direction, for a quick evening tipple you will find the village pub. The village amenities are a little further on. The popular beach resorts of Portreath and Porthtowan, great for surfing and families are a 6 mile drive and further afield the vibrant coastal resort of St Ives is well worth a day trip. Mynheer Farm Bowji offers all the trappings of country life and an ideal base for couples or families to explore both coasts of Cornwall. Portreath is nestled in a stream valley between high cliffs. It has a secluded sandy, safe beach which is popular with families and surfers alike. The village has several shops including beach shops, a take away, several pubs and cafes, plus cliff tops for walking with panoramic seascapes.
