This family-friendly barn conversion, part of a group of five in a quiet location in Bridge, near Portreath in Cornwall offers spacious and welcoming accommodation for a family or small group looking to escape to the north Cornwall coast. This property has a fully-equipped kitchen/diner, with a lovely dining table for the whole group to gather together and enjoy meals, along with a sitting room complete with wonderful woodburning stove and a large TV. Upstairs are three bedrooms; two doubles, one with zip/link feature so can be made into twins, and a single bedroom, all of which have their own TVs, while the family bathroom has a choice of shower cubicle and bath to begin your day. Outside are two enclosed patio areas with picnic benches at the front of the property, while there is also a shared lawn with a play area and off-road parking for two cars. There is a laundry facility on-site, for added convenience. Bridge has a restaurant within walking distance, while a wider selection of shops and eateries can be found in Redruth. The coast and closest beach of Portreath are a mile and a half away, along with an RAF base, while Chapel Porth and Perranporth beaches are further along the coast. Redruth is a small town in Cornwall, which partly dates back to the 12th century. Once the centre of Cornish mining history, it is now at the heart of a unesco World Heritage Site. There is a selection of shops, pubs and eateries available to choose from and the town holds a variety of continental markets throughout the year. Attractions close to Redruth include the Carn Brea Trail, The Great Flat Load, which is fantastic for cyclist and dog walkers alike, Tolgus Tin Stream Works, and the Tehidy Country Park. The beach at Portreath is a 10 minute drive, or 2.5 miles from Redruth. The entire stunning North coast is a suburb playground for surfing and all watersports, with resorts such as St Ives, Falmouth, the Roseland Peninsula and the whole Lizard Peninsula within easy reach. A superb destination for your Cornish holiday.
