We have had a fabulous week! The house has completely lived up to our expectations and we have loved Portreath and surrounding area. The sea views and sounds of the surf have been so relaxing, and the house has been extremely comfortable - and the hot-tub has been amazing for unwinding after our long coastal walks. We will recommend the house to anyone who might want to visit the area and we look forward to re-booking for 2026!

Well what can we say about Westaway apart from IT'S AMAZING! It's immaculately kept, very clean and comfortable with everything you will need catered for. The house itself is in a perfect location with a view that you will never get tired of. You can also fall asleep to the sound of the sea waves crashing against the shore. Despite the beach not being dog friendly between 10am and 6pm, we managed very well with our two springers. They loved their early morning walks along the beach which was popular with lots of dogs. Make sure to take a ball! The wet room on the ground floor was just bliss to shower off the sand. The village itself is great. Locals are really friendly. Great pub within walking distance which has a big screen showing sport, a pool table and dartboard. The fish and chip restaurant and takeaway was delicious. Make sure you book. There is a beautiful coffee shop serving breakfast and lunch. Both have live entertainment during the Summer. We were glad that we had booked for two weeks.

We had an excellent stay in this property, it looked lovely on the website but it was even better than I was expecting. We had good weather for our stay in December but I would have been happy to see some stormy weather as the views were fantastic.
