Guests say

Lynch Cottage in Devon is a well-loved holiday rental, praised for its secluded and peaceful setting with woodland and sea views. Guests appreciate the property's charm, spacious garden, and well-equipped kitchen. The cottage's tranquility and proximity to the Jurassic Coast make it an ideal retreat for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation.

The majority of guests found the cottage to be clean and well-maintained, with only a single mention of dampness and mustiness. The positive remarks about the property's upkeep suggest a high standard of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its seclusion, quietness, and proximity to the sea and coastal paths. The scenic views and easy access to local attractions contribute to its high rating.

While guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, several comments about the lounge seating being uncomfortable slightly lower the comfort score. Overall, the cottage is considered a comfortable stay.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and enclosed garden. However, some guests suggested improvements such as more comfortable lounge furniture and a SMART TV. The presence of a table tennis table and a range cooker are positives.

While guests have expressed gratitude for the cottage and its offerings, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that could be quantified. Therefore, a score cannot be provided, and guests should note that such amenities are not guaranteed.

It was so comfortable, the view is stunning and the owners have thought of everything. Our children loved the freedom of the grounds. We will be back.

Our only recommendation for small improvement would be more comfortable seating in the sitting room. The beds were extremely comfortable as were the facilities.

We, and our dogs, loved our stay. It was in such a special location, quiet and peaceful but near enough to many interesting and beautiful locations. The kitchen was very well equipped, as was the cottage itself. So much thought had gone into ensuring that we were provided with everything we could possibly need, and more. The garden was amazing, huge and very well kept, so we, and our dogs, spent a lot of time outside as we had perfect weather during our stay. The beds were very comfortable too and it was a bonus to have the sinks in each bedroom. The cottage was well laid out and ideal for guests and another bonus was the bag of goodies provided on our arrival, plus the milk in the fridge. We really did have a special stay. Thank you all.
